FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS & SYSTEMIC WORK

Insight is looking at the same reality with new eyes

What are Family Constellations and Systemic Work?

Family constellations and systemic work are powerful methods to expose hidden dynamics in relationships and families. Discover how these insights can help you break patterns and find peace and balance.

Systemic work is a powerful method that offers a lot of insight. By means of constellations you can look at conflicts with others or at inner conflicts, desires and patterns. A constellation shows that everything and everyone is connected. We look at the mutual relationships and how we can solve the obstructive patterns, so that you become freer in your thinking, doing and acting.

Give shape to your inner image by means of a set-up with representatives, floor anchors or on the table. By bringing out that which is so deeply rooted inside, you can shine a different light on it and observe it from other angles. Working with set-ups has a very intuitive character with which a deeper layer is touched. Interventions in the system to restore disturbed dynamics have a healing effect on an unconscious level and on the well-being of people or organizations.

Under the guidance of Eveline you will discover important new insights that will bring the system back into balance. Because everyone has the right to a place.

Listen to the podcast below in which I tell you more about family constellations!

HOW DOES A FAMILY CONSTELLATION WORK?

A family constellation is a method within systemic work that provides insight into the hidden dynamics and patterns within a family or other system. The goal is to make unconscious connections visible and to offer new insights that can lead to balance, peace and personal growth.

1. The issue

The session begins with the questioner, who brings in a specific issue. This can range from relationship problems and family conflicts to physical complaints or a general feeling of being stuck. Often these problems are connected to unconscious patterns in the family system.

2. The setup

The facilitator asks the questioner to choose representatives from the audience. These representatives take the place of family members or other elements that are important to the issue, such as “the problem” or “the solution.” The questioner intuitively places the representatives in the room, without much thought.

3. The systemic field

When the representatives take their position, a systemic field is created. In this, representatives can experience emotions, tensions or certain behaviors that belong to the persons or elements they represent. This often happens spontaneously and without prior knowledge.

4. Observation and insight

The facilitator observes the field and asks questions to the representatives. What do they feel? What direction is pulling them? This information makes hidden dynamics and disturbances within the system visible, such as unhealthy ties, entanglements or the non-recognition of certain members.

5. Restoring balance

The facilitator helps the system to restore balance. This can be done by moving representatives, saying healing sentences or rituals that acknowledge the problem. The goal is for everyone within the system to have a suitable place.

6. Integration for the questioner

Although the querent is usually an observer during the constellation, observing the dynamics and changes can provide deep insights. These insights can lead to a shift in perspective, behavior or feeling, which has a healing effect.

Effective and Personal

A family constellation works without extensive analyses or long conversations. It is a direct and experience-oriented method, in which the intuitive and the feeling are central. This makes it a powerful tool for personal development and breaking patterns that often go back generations.

A family constellation can help you find connection, understanding and harmony within yourself and your relationships. It offers a new perspective on old issues and opens the door to healing and growth.

Why choose family constellations?

Family constellations are a powerful method to make unconscious patterns, blockages and tensions within families or other systems visible and to break through them. Many people choose this method because of the deep insights and transformative results. Family constellations offer a unique opportunity to gain deep insights into yourself, your relationships and your life. It is a valuable choice for anyone who is stuck, wants to break through patterns or is looking for a better balance. Whether you choose a constellation as a questioner or a representative, the experience is always enriching and transformative. But what makes family constellations so special and valuable?

1. Insight into hidden patterns

We often unconsciously carry patterns, beliefs or burdens from our family. This can manifest itself in problems such as relationship conflicts, fear of failure, health complaints or a feeling of being stuck. Family constellations bring these hidden dynamics to light, giving you insight into the cause of your problems.

2. Deep level healing

A family constellation offers not only awareness, but also healing. By acknowledging forgotten or excluded family members, restoring balance, or letting go of heavy emotional burdens, space is created for growth, peace and harmony in yourself and your relationships.

3. Effective and fast working method

Unlike some other therapies, a family constellation often works directly and deeply. You can already experience a shift in your feelings or perspective during the session. Many people notice lasting positive changes after a constellation.

4. Suitable for various issues

Family constellations are widely applicable. They can help with:

  • Relationship problems
  • Parenting Challenges
  • Coping with loss or trauma
  • Work-related issues, such as conflicts or career questions
  • Unexplained physical complaints or emotional blockages

5. Improving relationships

A constellation provides insight into the dynamics between you and your family members, partner or colleagues. This insight can lead to more understanding, compassion and better communication. Often people feel freer and less burdened in their relationships after a constellation.

6. Focus on solutions

Family constellations are not only aimed at exposing problems, but also at finding solutions. Restoring balance within the system creates new possibilities and a fresh start.

7. Experiential and intuitive

In a family constellation you use your feeling and intuition, without having to understand everything rationally. This makes it a special experience that can deeply touch you and give you new insights, even if you are not directly involved as the questioner.

8. Also valuable as a representative

Even if you are not the questioner, but participate as a representative, you can learn a lot. By experiencing the energy and dynamics in a constellation, you often get surprising insights about yourself and your own situation.

Are you curious about what a family constellation can do for you? Be open to this special method and discover the power of systemic work!

Is Family Constellations something for you?

Family constellations can mean surprisingly much to different people, regardless of your situation or background. Whether you are struggling with personal questions, want to break patterns, or are simply curious about what this method can offer, a family constellation can bring you profound insights and change. Some people think that you are only there as a representative to make the constellation possible for the person asking the question.

For the person asking the question, it is a special experience to see his/her question being worked out by the representatives in a constellation. It is as if you are watching a film with yourself in the lead role. The representatives represent important people - for example father, mother, brother or sister - or 'something'; elements - such as love, death, family secret, autonomy or the organization. The representatives observe what they experience in a place determined by the person asking the question. These can be physical as well as emotional experiences, often determined by the mutual relationships and the place of the representatives within the constellation.

Eveline works step by step carefully with the information she obtains from this field with the help of the representatives, so that the set-up can unfold safely and carefully. Every intervention or movement in the field (the set-up) has an influence on the participants and they pass on their experiences and sensations, so that important information can become visible.
